I actually like they were willing to change the characters a bit for the show.

Man, is it cool to see all the little differences between the game and the show! I find it very interesting that the devil in the game seems to be a pure black, while the devil in the show has a little bit of a blue tint!

The one in the game is more like 50’s but it makes sence because they can’t just get people to hand draw the whole show

They still make it unique while still adding charm to the show in it's own way. Love how the cartoon looks.

0:54 is it just me or did he look more like the game version

in the show (in some shots) you can see on the corner of porkgrinds desk the potions he sells you in the game cool little detail, gets me exited for season 2

For both king dice and pork, in the show, I think they made it higher than their voices in the game.

Especially Dice is supposed to be raspy same with Pork.

2:36 For the chalice one it’s not cuphead 2 it’s a dlc for the original game

I definitely like the redesigns for some of the characters. I think Chalice and the Devil look much better in the show. I like that they differentiated the brothers more by changing the tint on their porcelain and shoes. Mugman has a warmer hue to contrast his gentler and skiddish personality while Cuphead’s is a slightly brighter porcelain and shoe color for his spontaneous and cheeky personality. Also giving Cuphead eyebrows in some scenes makes him more expressive.

Something that disappoints me in the cuphead show is that king dice only gets one episode besides the time where he was in the intro, I’m confused if he will come back because it wouldn’t be very accurate if he no longer made an appearance

I guess in the Cuphead the characters are more modern

I kinda wish they didn't trade off some of the more mature themes the game had to make the show mor kid friendly.

Fun fact: Elder kettle is more purplish in the show but in the game he’s more of a brownish color. So I hope that helped! 😊
