The USA Men’s National Team defeated the German Men’s National Team, 92-88 in their final exhibition game before the 2024 Paris Olympics.

LeBron James led Team USA as he scored 11 of his 20 total points in the 4th quarter while shooting 8-11 overall and added 6 rebounds and 4 assists as well. Joel Embiid (15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) and Stephen Curry (13 points) added 28 points for the USA team in the victory. Franz Wagner totaled 18 points ,7 rebounds, and 4 assists for Germany while Dennis Schroder (13 points, 10 assists) and Moritz Wagner (12 points, 7 rebounds) added 25 points.

The next game for the USA Men’s National Team’s takes place on Sunday, July 28th as they will play Serbia in the Group Phase. The schedule for the next three games can be seen below:

This game is unbelievable. Highest level of basketball possible between these two teams. Germany is polished and precise on offense making the CORRECT play virtually every bucket. USA has talent unseen anywhere in the world which makes them unguardable. Fun asf to watch

As a German I am very proud of what has risen basketball-wise in our national team. We actually are a decent opponent for the states. I can't keep wondering what this team would be like, if Dirk would be younger and still playing 😀

These 5 games have shown that the basketball section of the Olympics is going to be must watch tv. Good competitive games, no 25+ point blowouts. This is what the best in the world from all countries should be showing. Go USA, some great playmaking by Schroeder though, shows what he can do when dialed in at the guard spot.
