i’m still in disbelief that this got second. but i will forever believe that if maddie had performed this when she was a little older it would’ve won, i think the judges deemed it too mature for an eight year old,

This was very sensitive subject matter and Maddie honestly portrayed it flawlessly. She emoted so much both through her face and movements and her technique was great!

This is my number 2 fav solo of maddie it gives me a flashback of something and the song is perfect and maddie dances this dance beautifully

It’s just one of those dances that makes you feel something. For me, I think this is my favorite Maddie solo. It just made me feel the emotional struggle of a hard life, not knowing why all of this is happening to you and just wanting all of it to be over. Very reflective of people who commit suicide and it was really executed in this dance.

Maddie had the drive and determination and also the dedication to the team. She really did leave off and on the last few seaons but for the first many she was there and working patiently waiting for that big break.
