Abby wasn't the one who ruined Maddie's life, the producers were. They asked Maddie to be rude to Chloe and made her receive a ton of unnecessary hate. The producers controlled everyone's life including Abby's, they forced Abby to eat fast food, which ruined her health. Most og casts confirmed that they didn't know much about the toxicity of the show when they signed the contract. It got so off-hand that Abby decided not to renew her contract with lifetime because of how they treated her.

I love the absurd amount of people defending Abby Lee Miller when she literally confirmed HERSELF that the producers didn't ask her to be horrible to children and that she didn't need the producers help to make children cry, she said that it was all her teaching methods.
