I disagree with Christi she bumped Maddie up because it gave Maddie a challenge because she was at the top range for her age group

Not everything's about you or your kid, Christi. Abby probably just wanted Maddie to be challenged by older and better dancers.
Also, Melissa is very mature about the situation. If it was Chloe who got bumped into an older division, Christi would just throw another epic tantrum.
