I am guessing it took a while to get the perfect amount of explosive, to form without destroying it.

This is done by an Iranian engineering firm and it's the first in the world. What you hear in the video is the operator shouting "Atash" which means "Fire" .

What was going on with the top of the sphere before the explosion? It looked white.

This is how they should have formed the nose cones for some of the space-x space ships. They failed their early pressure tests possibly because of their shapes.

I just think it cheaper doing it on a dish head forming machine. I just wonder how many blow apart before they get one right.
