While ball lightning is a real phenomenon, the examples here look like they're moving with the camera, and in unison. I'd say they're some kind of light artifact/reflection in the camera.

If they're talking about the two spots in the air, that's a reflection on a window. If they're talking about the thing on the ground, that's a transformer being hit by lightning and shorting out.

Ball lightning is neither of those things.

i actually did see some ball lightning once. I was in my early 20s, driving home to my apartment in Norman, OK fairly late at night when I saw this large ball of yellowish/green light (a little wider than the front of my car) floating and bouncing in the air. it came in from the right side of the road and bounced across both lanes to the median and then dissipated. it looked so alien and so unreal.

Looks like the lightning hit a large main transformer which overloaded, arced for a few seconds and then exploded. The smaller flashes were probably smaller pole transformers that exploded from the power surge of the large one. I have seen a chain reaction like that before. There was a similar event in New York City a few months ago.
