Safety Note: The pressure required for inflating 1mm thick steel sheet is relatively low. As water cannot be compressed, the energy released from a rupture is roughly the same as using a regular pressure washer attachment. I always wear a face shield and stay at least 2m away during Hydroforming.

When using compressed air for 'Aeroforming', I use very low pressure that is equivalent to a few strokes of a bicycle pump. I never use pressure high enough to rupture any pieces. I always revert back to Hydroforming if a piece needs more pressure to inflate fully, making sure there is no air left inside that can be compressed. I am aware of the potential risks, and always follow the necessary safety precautions.

This was my introductory class to welding many years back, first lesson, only using the oxy-acetylene torch to cut and weld two squares with a pipe into the top. pressure test, if it inflated without leaks you passed :)
