As a non-fan of either team the context of Yanks hitting Rays players 12 times is important to understand why this happened. Little more context to this, earlier in the same game the Yankees hit Rays Isaac Parades in the head. The amount in the first place (12/2) is enough to be mad about but the fact that they already hit someone in the head really set them off.
