POMPEII WALKING TOUR-Lost City Frozen in Time!

In 79 A.D., Mount Vesuvius erupted and covered four Roman cities in several feet of ash and mud. Pompeii is the most famous of these cities and is one of the most well preserved. Pompeii was untouched for 1,700 years but once excavations began in the mid-18th century, the city was discovered again. On this two hour guided tour, we see many of the highlights of Pompeii, including human remains encased in plaster of Paris, showing one of the last residents of Pompeii in the exact position they were when they died. A fascinating tour!
