I use to think it was all about core strength. But then I realized, its also hamstring and quad strength.

As I get older I've realised Calisthenics is so cool!

What I love about what you do, is your mentality is the strongest thing about you. Without your strong mindset you wouldn’t be nearly as physically strong; that’s awesome. Seriously, this is great.

Do planche workouts and show your progress, thats very likely to be interesting as only a few women are doing this and there are plenty of searches for this content. Keep doing good work! Thx

Your physique is absolutely amazing!! Keep up the hard work and inspiration for us all! Thank You!!

P.S.
This is my first week of calisthenics and the L- Sit is crazy difficult, and you are so right when you say you need core strength, I was able to keep my L- sit for 5 seconds before falling! So thanks for speaking truth! ❤❤💪

Even more important than core is the hip flexor strength

Physiology definitely matters. I have long arms and no problems with L-sit at all. And I have never really trained for it. I’m not gonna talk about my planche progression though…

This just invigorates my soul to go work out and improve my health and life again. Thank you, so much. I hope when I come back to see this that I will have a good report of the work I’ve made on my self.

Flexibility in the hamstrings and glutes is also necessary, plus hip flexor strength to get that perfect 90° angle between the legs and body and particularly strength in the rectus femoris which is going to help keep the leg in perfectly extended and flexed at the knee. Don't forget latissimus dorsi and triceps are going to be responsible for holding your weight, with the rest of the muscles in the posterior chain being active to stabilise that perfectly flat and stabilised structure. But yes, the "core" is going to be active but that's a given since L sits are a total body exercise.
