Obviously he's an amazing vocalist, but he's also sooo knowledgeable, I think he's the most authentic form of male evolution 🌸

I use what I call my immune booster, and have been doing this for years. I use raw, ground spices; turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon. It has helped me, so much! My health has been the best it has ever been, I don't get colds or flu often, when I do they are gone within days. I have been completely healthy during Covid-19, and I have been taking transit and working with the public the whole time. I am so glad that I decided to take care of my health, through my diet. 😊

Ken, as a Registered Dietitian (RD), I applaud your outstanding efforts to incorporate healthy nutrition into your lifestyle and approach to vocal performance. Your suggestions of garlic and ginger are some easy, inexpensive, and readily available foods that really rock! But don't forget to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!

I totally agree about proper nutrition for vocal health. Singing used to make me cough because of acid reflux. After I switched from a burger and fries diet to a whole food plant based diet, my acid reflux disappeared. Now I can sing without coughing, and because of the anti-inflammatory foods I eat, I can sing longer and with less strain. I also recommend the advice of doctor Fuhrman—it’s really helped me.

Ken, I'm a retired RN and nutraceutical follower and believer since childhood. If everyone in America, ....just "bought and did what you just told hospitals would go out of business sir. Cheers for your insight into "what's truth". Now, I have high respect for this channel. This is more important than having a good voice or being a singer.

Cheers. (I know...you like my comments: I don't need any likes....truth is truth)

Vegan Heavy Metal singer here! Got much better when I started following a plant based diet :) I had lots of problems with sinus infection to the point I couldn't even breathe from my nose for a few days... and even taking all those crazy medicine I wouldn't get better: the doctor said I should have a surgery. And then the doctor asked me if I eat too much cheese and milk and I said yes, then she said I should reduce that. I didn't only reduce, I have cut it completely (well I still eat that...vegan version) after reading a bit more about the problematic casein... and it worked! 3 years without any problems now. Oh and I only have Globe Amaranth Tea (Gomphrena globosa) and it helps a lot if I feel a little inflammation! Thanks for your videos Ken, they're great.

I have sinus issues and I am performing for the first time ever in March 2019. I’m deathly afraid. I purchased your course to give me confidence but my sinuses are still annoying. This video has helped a lot. Thanks Ken!

Ken, dude, thank you! I started getting a sore throat and cough last weekend and actually lost my singing voice during a gig. Fortunately I was able to use my looper and finish with some instrumental guitar, which actually went over quite well with the audience…something they were used to hearing.
Feeling better now but still have a small nagging cough and definitely don’t have my voice back. I’ve got a week to heal because I have 3 back to back gigs starting a week from today! Kinda nervous…

Been working on changing the way I see food and what I eat, cutting out a lot of junk, lost 100 pounds in the last year (down from 440, yeah I'm a biggin') and have noticed that my singing has improved. Been watching a lot of your videos and look forward to enrolling.
There's lots of songs I want to add to my channel for covers, and I look forward to improving.
Keep the help coming and thank you for doing this.

Keep them coming Ken. Always good info. One curse for many singers is allergies. Some people don't even know they have them. Most people think pollen or dust, but there are many types of allergens, including many things found in foods we eat. I notice extra congestion if I drink milk or eat white flour wheat products. Be careful what you eat before a singing event.
