Coffee Conversations: Lymphedema

February's first coffee conversation is with Beth Chandler about breast cancer and lymphedema. Beth is a physical therapist at Grandview Medical Center and is a certified lymphedema specialist. She developed the lymphedema program at Grandview in 2020 to serve the growing needs of the hospital’s cancer center. She has been with Grandview for 16 years where she has worked in the hospital and inpatient rehab settings as well as orienting and training newly hired physical therapists. She enjoys educating others including her patients and their families, fellow coworkers and the community.

Beth is from Birmingham and has been working as a physical therapist for 29 years. She is a graduate of the physical therapy program at UAB, with her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Dance from The University of Alabama. Roll Tide!
