Welcome to Arts Core. If you have watched any of my previous pencil drawing tutorials, you might have heard me say that you can use a brush, q-tip or paper stump to blend. Well in this short video I wanted to show you guys how these three different methods look like on paper. I hope you guys like the video, and please subscribe to my channel for more content!

First here lol, so some tips :
Use them for different purposes, stump can be used for blending in detailed and more precise area, Qtip for soft n textured area and brush for smooth blending

You didn't even prepare the paperstump, more so cleaning it! With all the respect, that's 100% wrong use, (of a rather cheap paperstump, that wouldn't do match anyway). First of all, you need a decent paperstump that works, (aka a Conte a Paris 9.5mm one), then, you have to properly prepare it's surface, using a rough at first and then a smoother sandpaper. (You turn the cone tip around it, to create and equal smooth surface) Then you hit it with your finger-tips, to remove the dust from the cone tip. Now, paperstump is ready for use! If youuse it properly, it makes the best (smoothest and cleanest blend, than any of the 3 you tried here!
