This video teaches how to float on your back and move in the water which are critical water safety skills. You will learn simple adjustments that you can make to find a calm, relaxing back float that works for you. Finally you will learn how to propel yourself through the water using chicken-bird-soldier!

Swimming, like all athletic activities, is physically challenging and involves risks to participants that cannot be entirely eliminated. Please use these resources at your own risk and always follow these guidelines when learning to swim.
👉 Practise with a coach or experienced swimmer
👉 Practise in shallow, calm water
👉 Dress appropriately - water resistant swimwear and goggles
👉 When in doubt, get out. Only swim when feeling comfortable
