i deleted social media for a week ☕️❄️

I can’t believe this is my first video of 2021!!💖 In this winter vlog I show you what I did during first half of my winter break (from a few days after my college finals week was over to Christmas)! I didn't use my phone or social media the whole week (except on Christmas I quickly posted on insta to wish everyone a merry xmas), so everything in this video is just me doing things not involving social media or screens. Hope you enjoy!!:)

hiii, hope you had / are having a great winter break + new year! just curious- are you guys taking online classes, in-person classes, or a hybrid of both this semester? also read below for more *spoilers* about this vid!;)

1. Don't worry guys, I didn't actually throw my devices into the lake xD The case is actually just the packaging of my camera's stabilizer, and it floats so that's why I could confidently throw it in (I still have it btw and it's totally fine). I did hide my iPad away on top of my shelves so I couldn't reach it, and I kept my phone in my desk drawer and only took it out so I could have it in case I needed to call during my walks with my brothers (+ to film a bit). But the apps being deleted/turning of the devices was accurate, I just didn't throw them in the lake xD
2. I didn't really talk too much about social media in this video since I ended up doing so many things, but I basically only use Instagram and YouTube and the other platforms I rarely go on. Also, just for context, I don't have any "personal" social media, just my Study To Success ones, so it was relatively easy for me to just log off!
3. I overall really enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend trying it out sometime! I've done longer breaks before and every time I feel refreshed and more focused on what's in front of me, and it's easier to tell which accounts/channels add value to my life or make me feel happier and which ones make me feel stressed or negative when you have a bit of distance :)
