I used baking soda, apple cider vinegar, salt, sugar, Gatorade, milk, Apple Gatorade, and ketchup. Does not stink and it works VERY WELL

1. You don’t need tape 2. Shouldve added the stuff in the bottle before putting the lid on

Just a thought here. Why not mix up the ingredients in s separate bowl & then poor them into the trap before you put the top on? Just a thought.

I made a fly trap apple cider vinegar diswashing liquid in a drinking cup put a baggie over the top put holes in the top did not believe it at first put it on top of the dog house it did work another insect got too thanks for the info

I saw another video w/same set up but they only used sugar water. Think I'll try that. They fall into the water and can't get out of it.

Does it work? How u empty it? I have heard that flies build their colonies in this trap later and more flies born out of it. Is it true?

is it okey to do the mixing of the sugar orange and the tomato before putting the funnel cap?

It can be any kind of fruit, preferably over ripe or rotting. Don’t get too worried. Mainly attract them into the bottle and it’s hard for them to get out.

Thanks for the effort and the video but wouldn't it make sense to put the food into the bottle before you tape the top back on it instead of fighting it like you did

He could have just put the cap on nice and tight and poked a hole in the bottle from the outside.

...And now that u've smashed that tomato all on TOP of the inner part of that trap, ur telling me.they just don't stop.right there and feast or lay eggs...Whatever ist is they do RIGHT THERE ON TOP, Like w/O entering the the lil tunnel to.meet their ultimate doom? Amd could I just use soda.pop? Will that work?
