So people with a cough most likely had a recent cold, is this what doctors are learning at med school these days?

I think it's something else! I'm noticing other people like myself that never had a cough linger more than a few weeks. This year 2024 the virus is gone and there is no more mucus bur there is this little irritating scaring or open soar left behind causing us to cough. I'm going on 5 months and other coworkers are going 8 months. They keep saying nothing to worry about but it's not going away.

8 weeks I guess I'll have to quit my job because no way they're going to be forgiving of a 8 weeks of me not being at work. Well at least they gave me a crew member of the month certificate that I can use at my next job in the event that I may have have to quit the job due to a coughing that won't go away. (Interview: so tell me what happened at your previous job? Me: I got very sick at one point and I started developing a cough that wouldn't go away and I had to quit because the cough wouldn't go away for up to 6 weeks and I wasn't going to be a detriment the burden to the payroll and I'm still guilty over it and shameful over it that I won't return back to that place to work it was an amazing job

So, wait for weeks and then see a doctor and doctor give you a remedy for the wrong cause. This is the 1950s mentality of going to a doctor - take an Aspirin and call me in the morning. I had a cough now for 8 days - gets irritated more when going out in the cold - but a cough (after Acid Reflux Treatment since 1990s) that lasted March to October after in March I started again many mandarins and orange juice visiting people in hospitals - and it took me something doctors do not know or pay attention to in America. Remember that glare you see in a car windshield when early Sun is directly in your windshield - or evening glare? Well, took me years to realize is film on inside of window most likely hot Sun hitting plastics and other inside of car areas, chemicals & dyes in car. Takes more than window Cleaner - and found you have to use dish detergent first to clean the film then window cleaner. SOMETHING DOCTORS DO NOT KNOW - took me months and history of past years to realize that from March to October - hundreds times, the second i go into my hot car then I start the cough. And makes you think - if not made in USA, how many chemicals are inside a car that we do not have any knowledge to know effects on breathing in hot air situation. I mentioned this to a Gas Docttor - seems most discount this although happened hundreds of times over 8 months
