Have been using this phone for 10 months now, this phone just keeps getting better - the updates. Did not use any screen protector or case for this (just a Dbrand skin) and it still holds up really well. It's great you are reviewing this one year on. Hope we get to see a PH2

I don't get that scrolling problem. It's fast and smooth. Use Kiwi Browser over Chrome. Kiwi uses less RAM and you can listen to YouTube videos if the screen is off.

Not a fan of this phone, but it's very impressive that they already have 9.0
while most flagships are on 8.0 and some phones released around the essential are still on 7.0 likely never to get 9.0

Fantastic review Alex, it's so great to see this phone still getting the love and attention it deserves (both from the company and consumers). With the price this thing is being sold at, and the consistency and high quality updates it's getting, it's an absolute steal.

Aside from the camera, I would say this is the best deal right now. That build quality and software experience is so good. I do hope they make a new phone with slight updates, mainly aiming at the Camera.
