This CX5 is a go try for me, I chose the Forester over it because of the airiness and bigger interior space. No doubt the CX5 dark interior and material choices made it a tough for me!

I’d give it a try if not for the family size I need to haul😜

Pls drive it in manual Sports mode to fully unleash the zoom zoom factor. To overtake, try downshifting in manual Sports mode and step on it, then enjoy and smile 😃 if I can do it in Mazda2, it has to be even better in CX-5

what?? here in australia we get the new 10 inch infotainment on the facelift cx-5. not sure why they chose not to do the same for the asean market esp singapore. i guess they're saving it for a possible next gen???

Im from Malaysia, our CX-5 is still the pre-facelifted version. Rumour has it that they will announce the face-lifted version of CX-5 next year. My question is should i get the pre-facelifted or this one?

Quite right about performance figures, its not like everyday you need to go pedal to the metal all the time.

Well it's still comes with previous gen infotainment head unit, which is lame imo. They should update it with the new gen one instead like the one in mazda 3, but I guess mazda will hardly do so since cx5 is selling like hot cake (in Malaysia).

For ppl who can’t accept today’s high CEO prices. For those who can remember back in the 80s/90s, it is not common to find continental cars like BMW Audi Mercedes in HDB car parks. Today you go to any HDB car park, easily half of the cars parked there can be continental. This only goes to show people’s incomes have grown over the years. And with COE supply pegged at zero, economics will explain why COE prices are at current prices. For those who don’t drive, their incomes can continue to support the fleet of taxi/private cars here, surge pricing included. If you are a driver, you have already accepted this is the cost of driving in this country. And the cost is higher than yesteryears because there are that many more high income earners just like yourself.

Once again Mazda failed with backseat USB ports. It is not “smart” move, but idiotic move to place only usb ports behind the central seat. I have 3 kids and one of them has to sit in the middle. Good luck having access to those USB sport. I would like to have solution where you have usb ports in back of the seat and also in the middle of back console, then at least you can use something if you have 3 or 2 seaters in back.
