I test drove the 22 Lexus nx today and I have to say I was very disappointed the cx5 signature is just better imo Mazda has come a long ways.

Just got my wife a 2022 gt sport. All the bells and whistles. White leather interior. In this same colour. Absolutely stunning car. Honestly feels like driving a sports car. Mazda has raised the bar very high. Her old car was a Mazda 6 with all the regular service intervals we never ever had any issues. I believe it’s the best bang for you buck.

Excellent review of the 22' CX-5 !!! Had been waiting for someone to review this and looks like you're the first one. This refresh is pretty sweet !!! I went from a CVT ROGUE to a 20' CX-5 and I'm in love now with the Mazda Brand. The sky is the limit for them. Keep up the great work my friend 👍🏼

I just bought a Crystal Blue 2022 CX-5 premium trim in Sacramento, they were getting some more delivered while I was there. The seats are more comfy IMHO. I am also liking the wheels, more like the 2018. I don't care for the rear lights.I love it!

Good review. I agree with your likes and dislikes. The CX5 is definitely at the top of it’s class, so I understand that they don’t need to do much in the way of improvements, but the center console could use a redesign….. just move things around. Anxious to see the CX50.

So glad i got a 2021 cx-5 carbon edition turbo. Do like the look of the new headlights but very disappointed that mazda took out the turbo engine and the bose sound system away from that trim. What they should’ve done is added the adaptive LED headlights and LED taillights. That would of been a for sure home run. They could of marked up the MSRP and im sure people would of still bought them. Plus not a fan of how they changed the chrome piece on the front grill. On the previous years the chrome was more sleek and went in to the headlights. On The 2022 the edge on the chrome that goes up to the headlights is too wide. Also no trim level has fog lights, not even the higher trim models.

Put a deposit down for a 2022 last week. I test drove the 2021 a few months ago and absolutely loved it. This video really helped sum up the differences between the 2021 and 2022. Very helpful given that dealers rarely have cars on the lot anymore due to the chip shortages.

I’ve only ever drove sedans, so this will be a great intro to the crossover suv segment for me. Can’t wait until my car comes in! Thanks again, I think I made the right purchase.

They have so much potential I still wished it had hood struts or body colored fenders instead of plastic black! As well as I feel they should spelled out mazda in the back ! They also need panoramic sunroof

Wish they would have included the 360 camera on the premium plus trim and up and not exclusive to the signature.

What the heck is with those tiny blinkers? Mazda could have simply integrated the blinkers into the drls and taillights

I absolutely love my soul red crystal CX9, we already had 2016 CX5 which we were sold on the brand. A real driver’s SUV with the looks and the reliability which no German make can touch!
