My FAVORITE Tomato Snack! | Garden to Plate

Can't go wrong with Pan Con Tomate so here is my take on it using everything from the garden and homemade sourdough! Next time I would recommend actually taking your garlic and grating it directly on to your bread for that extra pop of flavor!

Varieties:
Tomato: Early Girl
Basil: Dark Opal
Garlic: Rosa Di Sulmona

The beauty of this video isn't even the result of the snack.
What I find to be perfect is how much I actually learned from the process of this video

1. Grating tomatoes to make a sauce
2. rolling leaves for a more consistent dice
3. Chive Flowers are edible
4. crisp bread so the sauce doesn't become soggy

Maybe these are all simple things but I never really thought about making Bruchetta before seeing it now so makes me excited to give it a shot.

Bruschetta 👌👌 I’m absolutely loving the vibe of this video. Everything is great, the food, the pace, the shots, the editing style, the color, the rustic outdoor ambience- mise en scène. Jacques is knocking it out of the park like he’s Babe Ruth!

That looks great. I do the same with just a little difference…try rubbing the garlic clove all over the toast and then just lay the slices of tomato on top of that with the basil…same thing just less mess. Delicious 😋 thanks.

I've recently just subscribe to your channel because I too am obsessed with gardening in the most enjoyable way possible on Earth. But I do have to say that after seeing this video you made, and the exact food that you ate, I actually cried.. and yes you can laugh because I am. My great grandmother used to feed this to us if we were sick, sullen and sad, it WILL cure what ails you and It WILL help, my favorite wintertime pickmeup, gma called it stewed maters n black toast

So good! I do this, but with store bought local salsa. "Hecho en Northwest." Noting better. Salsa on avocado toast. Yum.

Looks delish and completely home made! Try rubbing a clove of raw garlic on your toast. You’ll get a nice whiff of garlic with each bite.

That looks amazing! I will have to try it sometime, but in my backyard I can’t grow anything because my chickens eat all the veggies and fruits we grow. 😂

I saw a Jamie Oliver recipe like this, but I think he put it on broccoli rabe or broccolini. Anyway, it’s delish no matter what you put it on!

I can't even explain how satisfying it was to pick my own tomatoes and peppers to eat with my lunch yesterday. There's really nothing like growing your own food
