Model and animate a knot in Blender 2.8 quickly if you follow these simple steps. This is meant to be a starter and you will need to close the “rope” ends with something, which you can animate on the path, or model and use a wire (curve) deformer instead.

Thanks, man that's a very cool tutorial format and timing - everything is comprehensive and yet not encumbered with redundant in-betweens. This is the format of all tuts in the future, I believe. Also it would be great to see you do a tut on the full-blown lace tying in a knot. Like a piece of fabric, loose at first and then tightening in a knot.

I think fast is good. i have seen others make a fast one then a slower one if there is interest. personally think it is a good way to do it.

Awesome! Hey, a little off topic, but how does one add a material library, or plugin into Blender? I have no idea how to do it...I've tried that pack into blender thing, or linking it but, I don't think they worked.

This is actually great, It reminds me of the "Vaughan in 60 seconds" modo tutorials from Pixelfondue Half expected you to say "oh, look at the time" at the end of the tutorial. seriously though, this format is great and I would love to see more quick fire content like this. Keep it up! :D
