Can we just appreciate the fact that Arun respawned and instantly continued talking after being hit by a car?

What doesn’t suck though is Arun’s ability to rickroll us every time

By the time 5G is at its peak performance, also coverage wise, I’m pretty sure they’re already marketing 6G 😂

Hi Arun, I am a little bit confused. I used to be an integration field engineer for the cell towers in Bulgaria and while I have worked we had true 5G network, but the interesting part is that our network use the centimeters wave instead of the mmWaves. The frequency spectrum that is used is between the 3.1-4.6 Ghz which is related to the cm waves (super high 3Ghz - 30Ghz) instead of mm waves, and also the speed is from 800mbits up to 1.5 gigabits, that is the intriguing part of the whole scenario. Maybe there is a different standard for each country to be used.

EE in the UK seem to have simply rebranded their 4G+ connection to “5G”. At least that’s what it feels like in my area. I used to actually get faster speeds back in 2020 over their 4G+ connection then I do now in 2022 using “5G”.

A while back some people in rural England, though 5G towers were causing Covid so their busted them down. Turns out what they had destroyed were 3G and 4G tower and whole areas were left without connection, even for emergency services.

In my experience, I’ve locked my phone to only use LTE. When I’m on 5G, stuff rarely loads, even with full bars. When I switch back over to LTE, things start working again as normal. And this has been on numerous different phones and operating systems.

Yesterday was one of those days, where I had a SERIOUSLY slow internet speed... I looked at my phone, and saw the usual '5G' ...and I kept thinking: "maybe I'm between cell towers..."
...NOW I know the problem!😅
Thank you Arun, for clearing that up!😎

I was recently in Thailand, I had a temporary mobile internet contract with no data limit. I sat down in a shopping center the day I was leaving and started downloading Netflix movies & series en masse for my VERY long flight back home. It was true 5G, and wow! they were downloading faster than I could choose the next one!

Arun's take on things required for future networks is spot on - more coverage, better reliability, and 'good enough' speeds (like good 4g speed)

Over the years, Arun created a new style of youtube category. Congrutaltions!

Every engineer knew that there is no way to eliminate delay over a network with physical distance involved. What the vendors and carriers were really talking about is distributing the server services nearer to the clients phones to reduce latency. Yes they definitely mislead everyone except those who understand physics. And the mmwave issues with range are also something that we cant fix yet (laws of physics apply again) so expect that to be very slowly implemented due to the extreme cost involved.

God bless you . I have not continued to pursue my youtube career. But have learned so much from you. Thanks for your videos.

I love the fact that when Arun had to describe a year, he always mentions a popular phone released that year.

I've ran speed tests back to back and 4G was the same as 5G. The biggest issue with 5G is reliability and network switching. It's so annoying to constantly drop calls while I'm driving down the road when the phone is switching between 4g and 5g. I've disabled 5G on my phone

LTE was actually suppose to be the last upgrade it means - Long Term Evolution - it is suppose to be able to get a boost of speed each generation regardless how old your phone gets.. my 5G F sucks its laggy AF

These little things in your videos just make them so much more enjoyable. The little red arrow which moved when "Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G" changed to "Galaxy S21 5G Series" ... Just a very nice touch. Kudos to the editor!
