Every distro i've tried to game on has broken *except* Pop!_OS. It is ROCK solid and the dev team seems to be pretty passionate about the project they try to pair with their own hardware. I'm not saying other distros are more difficult or "bad". In my experience with arch distros, a buggy release to the update channel can and does brick systems. Nobara is solid, but nvidia driver issues pushed me away. Tried SuSE, Ubuntu...nothing is as reliable as Pop!_OS or as easy to configure. This should be the distro people start with.

I'm waiting for the FULL FUTURE RELEASE that is COMPLETE and ready for use... Hopefully Sept. as they orignally predicted... and YES- I love Pop too. They do TILNG RIGHT-- not like those key-banging doofuses claim their "automatic tiling window managers--which are anything BUT automatic- do"... POP is dang near PERFECT!!!

POP SHOP is fast LOL. It is a snail, but I still like pop os. Although to be honest, this video seems more like a commercial versus someone explaining why it is now their daily driver.

Pop OS - only 60 fps in games but 144 hz on the desktop. two monitors not support fully

I had Fedora as my driver but the memory was getting to extreme. Pop OS is lighter and easier on memory and i don't have to uninstall steam games to fit it on my 500GB drive.

Just like Gnome, it's wasted screen real estate due to app dock and bar at the top. At best you can auto hide the dock but then you need to reveal every time you wanna select an app, not good for productivity

and how is it more friendly than Ubuntu? seriously? it's just the same. I am a basic linux user who has machine with ubuntu and popOS! and i cant say one is harder than other.

I am going to go with Pop!OS after Windows 10 no longer gets security updates next year simply for the Nvidia specific ISO alone. I refuse to use Windows 11.
