Very high consume ram.With 2-3 apps opened consume almost 3, 9gb since I have 8gb.I prefer Debian xfce or mate.Many thanks for your reviews!

Pop OS 22.04 won't even boot USB to install. Previous version had some drivers missing and sound issue. However, Ubuntu 22.04 boots, installs and works fine. Might try Ubuntu and check mint out when that releases.

This thing bricked my PC and now I can’t even log back into my account without recovery mode. I’m so upset I didn’t back it up :(

Every time I boot I’m taken to the BusyBox shell initramfs menu. Completely black screen and I can’t even type in the window to fix

My WhiteSur Theming is not working any more on Pop Os Gnome 42. Can you tell me how to fix theming? It is not working system wide. And dont understand what is legacy window in gnome tweak tool.

htop is not showing accurate information. You can use top or free -h to see actual memory uses. I think htop adds buffer/cache with ram use.

hi @SavvyNik I installed pop os 22.04 and i trying to install ubuntu-restricted-extras, everything installed except the microsoft fonts. its really odd because normally it will install fonts along with it but now its not. i tried manually installing by running this command sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer -y. when I execute the command i get this error the following packages have unmet dependencies
debconf : Breaks: update-notifier-common (< 3.197~) but is to be installed
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver:: Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages

This is a fresh install, I did run sudo apt update & sudo apt upgrade before doing this

Do you know how to fix this issue and also if anyone else encounter this issue please let me know I been trying to resolve this for the past several days
