With Bella turning 16 soon and getting her license, it's time to take her car shopping. She has a very specific car she's been thinking about. Did she find the one?

I’m very much a car guy. As for reliability, Toyota’s and Honda’s are some of your best brands. Toyota also tops the charts as one of best brands for fuel efficiency.

My recommendations for Ariana looking for a nice sedan is to take a look at the Honda Accord’s or Toyota Camry’s. Both models have sportier trims, luxury trims, and hybrid powered options. Both are very reliable, and both have safety features such as automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, and much more.

As for Bella who is more looking at trucks, I would highly recommend Toyota Tacoma or Toyota Tundra. The Tacoma is a smaller, more economical truck. The Tundra is a full size pick up truck. Both are very reliable and have many safety features.

I love how each kids know what they want and the way Crystal and Aaron support all of them. But I'm so amazed with Max and Bella. Max definitely knows what he wants but do something as a compromise if ever his parents are worried about it and then there's Bella, it seems like she got her life all planned out like her course and future career but still know how to have fun. All of kids are so lucky to have such supportive parents...

My mom (75) is a member of the oldest women's motorcycle group in the world. She's been riding a motorcycle since I was Aurora's age. It is safe if done right...and Max seems to be doing it right! I showed her the video and she's very impressed with his maturity and preparation.

My first car was a ford focus and my current car is a Mazda. I love(d) them both. Gas is good. They were both safe and reliable. Also, decently easy to get or find parts if needed. I also was able to get both of those cars used. The ford focus was 10, 000 and the Mazda was 15, 000. Both had less than 30, 000 miles

I’m an insurance agent and from that standpoint Subaru’s have great safety features and will typically score you some discounts. As far as reliability Toyota’s and Honda’s are solid! Subaru is a great car as well but you can’t go wrong with the longevity of a Toyota or Honda.

Good ones for Bella might be Hybrids. Toyota Prius is a good safe choice and amazing gas mileage. I’ve owned one for a while as a first car and I’m extremely happy with the comfort, gas mileage, and reliability. It’s an older model as well and they get better mileage the younger they are.

Subaru's have a crazy good safety record and have hands-down the best All-Wheel drive systems. They've only been working on/developing their AWD system since the 1960's(?). For a young driver parents might also appreciate the Eye Sight system. I wouldn't buy one without it, personally. Also, take PROPER care of a Subaru (Oil changes and the major services) and you'll have it longer than most cars, easily!

I would say a Mazda for sure! I have had the car and currently have the SUV sport (Mazda CX30). Very affordable, extremely reliable and excellent on gas mileage. Best vehicle on gas mileage that I’ve ever driven.

We have bought our cars through carmax. They are priced well and they can ship any car at any of their dealerships to the one near you. Their warranties are PHENOMENAL. And you can shop the ENTIRE inventory online before going to the dealership. Since you asked, we currently have a rogue. Great gas mileage and safe

My first car was a Nissan versa. It was pretty small, got great gas mileage, and never gave me any issues! Very smooth ride and did keep me protected when someone hit me on the highway. I replaced it with a Sentra, and love it as well! I'll probably stay with Nissan for a while, everyone I've known that'd had one has ran them for years with very few repairs! Had the first not been recked, no doubt it would've ran for a few more years!

😁 My husband and I both drive Jeeps and even though I just got a Chevy Blazer I wasn't about to give up my Jeep. I will say that they are cheaper and easier to work on than most vehicle out there, and they maintain their value better than most. Biggest issue that we have had is cam shaft position sensors, but again not expensive and not hard to change out yourself. They're not Cadillacs that's for sure, but for this country girl I live and love it!!

If Bella gets a truck she should get a Tacoma! Toyotas are very reliable and the Tacoma's are smaller so more realistic for a student mostly just commuting. And getting an older one (cheaper) wouldn't be an issue because with proper maintenance Toyotas last for a long time!

My husband works at a Jeep dealership. Jeeps don’t “break down all the time.” Sure, they’re mechanical…stuff happens. But any vehicle you maintain well is going to serve you well.

Bella totally looks like a Subi or Jeep girl but my first car was, and still is, Honda Fit! I absolutely love it and it’s so cute with mods too 😍
