Locking the flap is an excellent tip. I’ll be using that one for sure.

Nice video tips again Sedge.... love those. I want to add my 2cents.

"That is a milled flat that is exactly the center of my domino cutter" *no matter the size of the cutter* :P

Wicked cool Sedge man! BTW, I'm one of Doc's friends down here in DFW.

I do the same as @chrisclarke. I sand a set of domino's for dry fitting and mark them with a red sharpie and keep them separate. With biscuits I often come across new biscuits that are to loose, or i sand them . I mark those with a red sharpie and us to dry fit . I seen some guys use a hammer to tap a biscuit to compress them although I never tried it with a domino.

Truly enjoy watching your videos! Knowledgeable but still approachable and I'm sure a lot like me appreciate you for that. I have two questions that you may have answered before and I haven't seen.... How do you determine the spacing/number of dominos on a joint of different sizes, and - I always wonder what all you have in your small tool pouch! May help us newbies by hearing what you keep handy.

Just lovely. How about centering middle board without TSO big plate?

Ouch my jaw just broke ! An Allen wrench as a key to lock the flap out ! AWESOME ! Thank you so much !

BTW, the only thing the TSO big foot is missing, is the extra flaps for 20mm center as the Festool has. I made them the comment… still, I don’t regret having purchased it.

Sedge, what is the name of your block plane?

I used red nail polish to highlight my DF700

I want to share that using Locking Pliers to pull the tenon out is easier than normal pliers.

I have a pair of those pliers. LOL. I have knocked off those little “nibs” on the ends. Never the face of the domino. But I did not know about being able to lock those flaps down.

I put mine in the microwave for half a minute and the fit in just fine.
