If you have 2 extra routers laying around you can add them to your existing Home network to improve your wireless coverage range and network performance! Thank you for watching!

1:24 quick question though. For router 2 wouldn’t we use .2.0 instead of .1.2? At what point do we use the next ip host address?

Okay, Help Please, I want to do this, well I did it actually, so will this exact setup allow devices on all routers to communicate???

I have a storage shed and in that shed is a router on a system, that has many drives which I'd like to access from in the house. Mesh not an option.

Does this setup allow all devices to communicate no matter which router they are connected to???

Is it possible to have your main network as 192.168... and add another router that offers 10.0.... range?
I built some esp32 based xmas lights that I need to be able to test under both private network ranges.

So with this config, no matter to which router i connect my PC using an ethernet to, it will get an automatic DHCP address? (obviously if dhcp is on on the PC)

for the people who arent super techie you should have explained why you were turning off DHCP. you cant just say do this trust me without proper explanation.

What’s the benefit in connecting three routers together versus just installing two Wireless access points to the main router? I’m new to the channel just subscribed. I want to plan on setting up a network at my house with it’s own in wall cabinet like you show in your videos.

On your tutorial for setting up two routers you changed the third value in the IP, and the fourth on this one. I may be getting that backwards (I’m commenting a few days after watching). Is there a reason for doing one vs the other?
