Monday was the deadliest day of protests in Bangladesh. More than 100 people died - as the departure of Sheikh Hasina triggered more violence and unrest. Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin has dissolved the country's parliament and released protesters from jail. Opposition Leader and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has also been released. The President - surrounded by Bangladeshi soldiers promised elections in the country "very soon". But the protesters want noble laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus to take charge. Didn’t know stealing stuff and destroying public property was considered as attaining freedom.

Similar thing happened in Sri Lanka but since the people there are more educated and not radicals, they didn’t destroy government property.

But no one vanadalized government property...people just opened the gates, had a swim in the pool and came back
