Sheikh Hasina has quit as Bangladesh Prime Minister and the Army has taken control amid violent protests demanding her exit. Bangladesh Army chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman told the media that the Army will form an interim government and has appealed to the protesters to return to the path of peace.

Today's generation Bangladeshis will understand how in pre-independence era also violence was instigated and lot of loot has happened. Karma acts in strange ways. Bangladesh is now relatively better off economically. Beyond a point these kind of things like looting businessmen, harassing minorities etc. Nobody with a sane mind will invest lotvof money where such a mindset prevails as is evident in the state of Pakistan's economy. What the history textbooks have failed to teach these riots will show the Bangladeshis what actually transpired in history. And in Pakistan it was more. They will know what being ashamed of themselves means. Free money from external funding is flowing but may actually take Bangladesh back decades. They are being shown the mirror as to What They Are as a people.
