I lived in Louisiana my whole life and I remember the first time I went on vacation I hated the food it wasn’t seasoned like Louisiana. The food is great here theres so many sights and gators are fun to people think there dangerous but only if u give them reason. Also if deciding to come u gotta try Louisiana style crawfish boil

We have a lot of grocery stores where you can get huge platters of fish with greens and baked macaroni for half of that. Lot of great food places here. The hole in the wall restaurants can shame most upscale restaurants in many cities around the world. If you like Creole ( think Soul Food) and Cajun food, Louisiana has the best on earth.

You will have a much better experience with the locals. Quarters prices are ridiculous! Besides locals don't even visit those places. We catch our on and we got the hook up😉
