Should you still buy an iPhone 6s in 2024?

I had a 6s for almost 2 years, and it was fine like 80% of the time, other than the battery being terrible and unpredictable. A couple weeks ago i bought a refurbished 12 mini and don't regret it.

Currently have the iPhone 15 and I bought this phone for a good price of 30 dollars on eBay. Sadly, the battery is at 79% where I charge it and 2 minutes starts draining fast to the point where it lasts one hour. Also overheats in 5 minutes while watching YouTube, browsing, or streaming shows.

Good things about this iPhone is the size is good on the hand, Touch ID, and most importantly the headphone jack. I mostly bought this phone to use as an iPod touch to listen to music and use it as a minimalist phone to cut screen time. Hopefully I can replace the battery soon.

Currently using an iPhone 6S right now, my first iPhone was a broken iPhone 6 and it’s unusable so I only bring it as a display. I traded it with my old Android for a used iPhone 7 which only has 32 GB with all broken buttons, it gave up in just 5 days so I tried repairing it. Then it lasted for just 7 months then it broke again, so I decided to trade it with an iPhone 6S. It’s actually a good phone. 64 GB of storage and 100% battery health, the only problem is that this phone dies after 6-9 hours, it overheats, bad front camera, and not good at taking pictures and videos in the dark. I still love it and still grateful for this phone though ❤

I have the same phone that I use as a iPod and although I love the design and feel, I’d never want to downgrade from my 15 to this. My 15 could run miles around this phone and even though I think the 6s preforms great for it’s age, I can’t imagine using it as a main phone now. I also have a SE 3 that is my favorite phone I’d recommend any iPhone starting from that one and up, the 6s I have lasts about 4 hours with low power mode on and has 99% battery health but I’d rather use my SE 3 since that lasts 6-8 hours for me. I honestly don’t expect iOS 15 to be relevant much longer so honestly even a 12 would be a great option.

i have the 6s but its not my main phone and i bought it icloud locked for cheap and im looking for videos ad applications that can remove the icloud lock so i can see how it fely back in 2015.

Watching this feels so weird. This was my first phone. I still have the motherboard in my cabinet of random shit.
I went from Android to this in 2015, have had 8 Plus and 11 during those years til' 2023, atm on 14 Pro Max.
Kinda wish they didn't go the Pro route but during all that time I've been really happy with Apple.
I might buy this again just for nostalgia reasons.

Edit: mean't to type this was my first Apple phone. I was a Samsung boy before that.
