Why put episode numbers on Good Morning Thailand instead of the date ??? It’s really annoying. As a morning show we should be able to identify the date as we do not all see it right away. A morning show with episode numbers instead of the morning date for which you are providing up to date information is absurd !!! Otherwise, good work 🙂

Probably this December I go for holiday again to Caribbean or maybe USA. Because i cannot trust Thailand governement in case of reopening.

Even if they do hit the November 1 deadline, this is NOT a reopening when anyone coming in to the country has to go through the Certificate of Entry rigmarole. Thais leaving and re entering the country will also have to go through this, so outbound travel also suffers. Other countries with similar vaccination levels require only proof of vaccination or a negative test. If Thailand doesn't remove the digit soon, it's neighbours are going to hoover up all the punters this year.

Open is relative. With all the regulations and restrictions it doesn't feel like a holiday destination even if they call it open.

The sad reality is that most hotels that have closed pay no severance to their employees, despite a legal requirement to do so.

I'm still not coming until it's open for real 100%

Tim and Jet have mastered being able to talk freely about issues in subtle ways and avoiding the landmines that Jay fears he will tread on.

All these aircraft sat on the ground for the duration are going to need a lot work to get them back in the air. Massive cost imitations. I fear an increase in air accidents as a result of airlines trying to save some money. Also, the aircrew are going to need upskilling, as a lot of them will be very rusty!

Well said the man about all the flip-flopping. Do they really think people are going to rush here with no entertainment venues open? Also the the vastly overpriced PCR tests too. I would not come just to sit on a beach for two weeks.

How many people with seizure disorder did Tim harm with the blatant color clash between his awful shirt and the painting?

Also the Chinese are not coming back for years if ever China is changing and are not promoting worldwide tourism for there population

A tip for Thailand, forget sandbox plans, forget opening dates. Concentrate on vaccinating the population and gaining control of the infection. It is the situation that must decide whether one can open, not because someone has thought of a date. Do not talk about opening up until you are ready to receive tourists without quarantine, and covid testing.

Tim, please, burn that shirt!!!

I am living in Hawaii, where many people wear the Hawaiian shirts; yet, they (the shirts) are not that "out there."

Thank you for updating, I am looking forward to visit Thailand but haven’t picked the date just yet, I am fully vaccinated and only got two weeks holiday, if I have to be quarantine when I am arrive in Thailand it’s won’t work out for me, I will keep eye on the updates, thank you.

Their definition of reopening is not the same as mine, all bars must be trading normally, no curfews, no quarantine and no masks. Maybe mid 2022, maybe later.

Bars will have to restock, if there is no definite reopening date they are not going order restock but as and when they do will the suppliers have stock for the hundreds of thousands of bars in Thailand ?

Tim, thanks for giving us viewers just a few examples of the extra expenses hotels, airlines, tour groups will have to endure in order to open up. And as in the USA, I predict the workers that had jobs connected to tourism may not return due to finding other jobs in their provinces or wanting to stay with family. Tourists will certainly need to be patient and flexible when returning to Thailand.
