How to Wire a Ceiling Fan

Follow this easy guide for how to wire your Hunter ceiling fan with pre-installed receiver.

**NOTE: If you have a Ceiling fan with a pull chain, make sure to connect the blue wire to to black ungrounded wire from the ceiling and the black wire from the fan.

Wired exactly like this for the dual switch but my light switch only turns on the light when the fan switch is on. I followed back my wiring to my outlet and the switches are separate. This is replacing an old hunter fan that functioned as intended with the dual switches. Is the model 59452 just goofy where the fan has to be on for the light to work?
