I've always felt like a bad communicator so this is super vulnerable for me. But the message is something that really changed everything for me. So if it can help someone else, it's all worth it.

I've worked thousands and thousands of hours, trying to show everyone that I'm worthy of being "Loved". That I'm worthy of being "Seen". My whole life, I've trying to write this perfect story, so that I can be accepted and appreciated. I never knew it though. Not until this year. At least I never acknowledged it. So I've decided to shift my focus. Stop striving so hard, and just be. Focus on who I am more than what I do. I'm sorry if I rambled a bit, but I hope I got the point across. I love you all. I don't listen to Christian music anymore.

Wow! Man, that sounds a little like what I've been through. I was also very shy, repressed, and had a hard time connecting with people or even talking about myself to them. Thank God, that changed a lot, so much that today I do not look like anything I was about 10 years ago.
Cara I believe in your potential, you are talented, I feel emotion in what you sing and play. Do not try to live an empty appearance, but something deep that you live, and that is beautiful! Nathan, let me just start out by saying you are a true inspiration to me. Your music is one of a kind and speaks from your heart straight into your audience's own, and that is a God thing. God has given you such a wonderful gift with music to move people and express real struggles and feelings introverts like myself have trouble expressing. Thank you for sharing with us your story, I know I'm not the only one that has been in a similar boat, still trudging through the rough waters now. However, He is with us through it all, so even though the feeling of loneliness can be super overwhelming at times, it's comforting to know we will never be completely alone. This is actually how I came to faith in the first place, feeling trapped and alone in my darkest times.
