This is truly a great recipe for clearing phlegm. The only recipe that really works after putting up with throat clearing for decades. Started working in a couple of days.

My grandmother made that without adding water or boiling the mixture, she grated the ginger, crushed the cloves, used the bay leaves whole placed between parchment paper & rolled over with a pistle to soften the leaves, crushed 2 whole star anise added all of those ingredients to a mason jar added honey and sealed it for a month, before starting to use it during colds & flu season, 1 teaspoon 2 to 3 times a day when needed, another cold remedy recipe she made with 1 whole onion peeled & cut in half, 2 crushed garlic cloves, place ingredients in a mason jar, onions cut sude upward, cover with honey, you need a fairly large mason jar 🫙 the volume of liquid will increase, use 1 to 2 teaspoon of liquid twice a day for colds or flu symptoms, check with a doctor if it's ok for you to use .

Chop 3 spoons of ginger Add 500 ml of water. 10 bay leaves crushed up. Boil it. Add 1 spoon cloves. Crushed. On simmer not boil. Wait 5 min Then strain into a glass jar. Add 4 table spoons of honey. Take 4 spoons and add to water and drink like cough syrup.

Thanks for the recipe. Upcycled jars rock, I use them constantly. Tip for the lids: sand lightly with fine grade sandpaper, remove any dust, and paint with nail polish. I have my granddaughter do this; she loves the artistic freedom.

Thank you for your video and recipe, i've just made some for my boyfriend who has a nasty sore throat and a chest cold. I much prefer natural remedies rather than junk from the chemist. I believe the body knows what to do with the natural remedies so it can utilise them faster and with more success.
