Thank you for your explanation regarding Matthew 16. I pray Jesus by the Holy Spirit empowers the Church as we yield to Him. Yes surrendering our desires to God’s will, instead of our lustful selves, is being obedient to God’s word. In return He will give us the Keys to the Kingdom. Amen!

Matthew 16:24 is my verse for 2021 💜 I just love it so much!! We have to deny ourselves daily, pick up our crosses and follow Him. We all want to wear our cross around our neck, but when it comes to having it carry it ... people shy away from it.

Our subject for our youth was Mathew16, and I choose to watch your video. It was helpful and understandable, but the verse that I strongly focus on was verse 25. This verse is so true and helpful, but it’s complicated to follow if I truly love Jesus, and realize that he was the Messiah that he will always be with us eternally.
