It's finally time for a new #BibleStudyWithMe series and I AM SO EXCITED to share that we will be doing the book of #Ruth! 🥳
This is the first Old Testament book I've done a Bible study series through, and I love how so much of the Old Testament is written in the genre of storytelling. Ruth is no exception. It's commonly understood as a love story, and it is - but it's not just a love story. It's a rich story of REDEMPTION that ultimately points to the redemption bought for us in Jesus Christ.
In Ruth chapter 1 we meet two of our main characters, Ruth and Naomi - and we find them in a place of dire need. The stage is being set for God to move! This is such a beautiful, masterfully-written story, and I'm so excited to dig deeper into all the little details that ultimately point us back to the character of our incredible God who wrote it. 💛
As always, don't forget to comment below letting me know what you learned from this #BibleVideo, and what verse(s) from Ruth chapter 1 stood out to you most. ✨

“But Ruth said, 'Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God." | Ruth 1:16
