I prayed this prayer during a relationship with a girl. I felt anxiety throughout the relationship and kept playing this song every night. 2 weeks later the girl ended the relationship, leaving me broken and confused. I then ran to drugs, pornography, and success to fill the void. None of it worked and then quarantine hit. And when quarantine hit it helped realize that I was building my life on falling sand, so I finally gave my life to God. Fast forward to now, I can listen to this song and look back on that time when I was praying for God to put me in the fire, GOD IS SO GOOD. I'm praying the same prayer now but this time I'm living for God and wanting Him to use me to impact people for His kingdom.

I thank God for your message. I love the word of God and study it day and night. My husband went home to be with the Lord about fourteen years ago. And a little over two years ago, I lost one of my sons. He had a brain tumor. Grief can be very overwhelming... but God never left me. He is still comforting me and watching over me. My husband and I are at a critical point, and I'm exhausted from the constant fighting. I have anxiety about everything that's happening, but I trust that God can help me. I'm done with being emotionally and verbally abused. I need to build a strong prayer life and not just look at my Bibles but actively read and study them. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." I'm ready to know the Word to combat negative thinking, anxiety, depression, stress, and everything else I struggle with, using the Word of God as my weapon.

5 Ps which helps in learning & hearing from God;
1. Position yourself to hear from God thru his word ...John 10, ' my sheep hears my word' with expectations (Psalms 27:13-14). Have a sanctuary to meet with your God.
2. Pour over the passage and write a paraphrase and ponder on the scriptures
3. Pull out the principles out of the scriptures; what do they mean.
4. Pose the question; the holy Spirit is working & answering in you depending on the authentic question u asked yourself!
5. Plan for obedience; intentional obedience to God according to what he's asked you to do!
We need to focus on one thing which is the word of God 🙏

Watching this powerful message now at 01:42 am on Sunday 04/02/2024 and look at my nightstand and saw my Bible that have been there untouched for a long time.
I picked up the Bible and opened the first page that I saw and it was Psalm 121.
