I think laziness directly connects to lust. I notice I fall into it when I’m laying in bed but never when I am keeping busy.

I had an ill health which put me in a huge debt, My brother and sister, i tell you this day to never give up on God and he will send you a helping hand. I was doing my bibble study online and came across an organization called Helen Zvart Froyan that helped put me out of this situation. I give all glory to God the most high for restoring my joy and putting laughter on my face once again. May his name be praised....

Laziness is also a sin because we take what God has blessed us with for granted. There are people who would do anything to go to school, to have a job, to have a home to take care. Yet we that already have these blessings we take them for granted which results in ungratefulness.

As soon as you said “The reason laziness and procrastination are sins are because they’re the arrogant assumption that God is going to give you another time do do what you need to do” I quickly had to find a piece of paper, wrote it down, and hang that up by my desk. TY for the good word! AMEN

Symptoms of laziness:
1. Social Media/The Urge
You have "nothing" to do so you scroll your problems away in a site that encourages laziness.
2. Depression/Social Anxiety
You feel lost, and alone. You feel like if you differ from the world that you might look like a fool. In reality, the world is in the wrong. And you need to change. You might have been affected by personal problems, and laziness is a form of comfort or to get away from the truth.
3. Apathy
You just don't care, you either feel like you can't do it. Or your just too lazy to not be lazy.
4. Boredom
You are bored, you feel like there's nothing else to do other than be lazy. There is so much to do, and you deny that fact.
5. Self-Definition
You feel you cannot change because it's in your nature, or because that's the way you are. You need a change of perspective, and the way you look at yourself. You think you cannot achieve your goals, so you might as well push them away. And run away from your problems. One person’s idea of “lazy” may be another’s idea of a hard day’s work.
6. Fatigue
You feel tired, and want to lay down or relax for a minute. Minutes turn to hours, hours into days, days into months. And the cycle continues, you sleep when you don't need it. And always sleep in/or have a bad sleep schedule.
7. Environment
You think it's okay to be lazy, because others do it too. Your friends and people you know are lazy all the time, so if your friends and family blow off work. Your more likely to do it too.
8. Distraction
Your distracted by the world, and its technology. Such as Phones or Tablets, computers, and the features these devices come with.
𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘴/𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴:

1. 𝘿𝙤 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚: Don't clog up your to-do list, instead prioritize the important things. And set aside the rest. What are you willing to drop, and what are you willing to focus on?

2. 𝘽𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘: You cannot just say you need to be less lazy and do it. You need a plan, you need to elaborate on 𝙝𝙤𝙬 you get rid of your laziness.

3. 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙛𝙪𝙣: Your more likely to repeat actions that you like/enjoy. So find something other than what your currently doing that makes you feel lazy. And you might just find something easy and fun to combat your stay at home/unhealthy life style.

4. 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚: To get things done/started you need to be able to resist distractions. It's not about willpower, you need to be able to put your phone in another room. Try installing apps that limit your screen time, or take 15-30 minute breaks from devices and slowly work your way up.

5. 𝘽𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙛𝙪𝙡: Some are lazy because of habits, whether its procrastination out of habit. Or reacting with anxiety and unpleasant emotions out of habit. Be aware of your thinking and your actions.

6. 𝙂𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛: If you are in a period of procrastination, don't get mad or beat yourself up. If you do that, you will most likely procrastinate again. If you forgive yourself, the results will become the opposite.

7. 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙: Life has many desicions to make, you may or may not feel lost. Realize you need to make a decision, keep an eye on your goal/goals. Explore the options you have.

Thank you for reading this through, I really do hope that this helped identify the cause of your laziness. And how to get rid of that cause. God bless you in your journey, I hope I can overcome it as well. ❤️✝️

Laziness connects to lust in that we lack stewardship of our urges and the diligence and patience to wait for whom God has for us. Laziness in that we desire instant gratification versus operating with perseverance.

I (16 yo girl) have called myself a Christian since I could talk. I spent absolutely no time learning about him and only "came to him" if I needed something. I randomly got the surge today to look up God's word today, and I feel changed. I feel sad I missed out on such wisdom for so long and I am so incredibly thankful for this video. You have completely fixed my thought of laziness and I am so glad I was randomly brought here today. Amen

One thing I believe the Lord has shown me is that laziness is a comfort addiction. This video was right on time!

I’ve been avoiding this video for 2 days, because I was scared of feeling convicted, but I felt convicted to watch it. I’m really trying to get used to correction, and to be okay with being convicted because it will be used for my benefit in the end. God corrects the ones he loves. Thank God for this video

I really needed this. I'm 52, and have been retired for 4 years. In the past year or so, I have found myself getting very lazy. Been ignoring my large property, putting in the minimum efforts. I have also been lazy with my prayer and study time. I try to justify it by telling myself how I deserve it because I worked my butt off working 12-15 hour days for 35 years. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to exhort an old man!❤️🤙🏽
