Forcing customer to use the app to use camera is a terrible way to do business. The app doesn't even work with all phones.

Forcing customers to use the DJI MIMO app to use the camera is BAD, VERY DAD business. Do people know if customers have to use an app with GOPRO 11?

With android, it seems i have a very expensive paperwight. Come on dji, give us a way to register our cameras until you fix this horribal software so we can use out cameras!

I cannot connect the camera to the Mimo app. App recognizes the camera but fails to connect.

Do you need to install the app to use this camera? I read after attempting to use the camera five times without the app, you cannot use the camera until you install the app on your phone.

Well I didn't get an option to download the firmware, just an option to INSTALL, which then failed, repeatedly. So far I have retried about 15 times, reinstalled MIMO and still exactly the same.

Great tutorial - answered most of my questions before buying. It seems like the registration and firmware upgrade process is a final showstopper for me. Cool camera though.

SO want one of these! I've been looking for an action cam for hiking videos, after nearly destroying an iPhone 8 Plus when doing so. The Go Pro was a little out of my price range and so I was looking at the Akaso 8, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere in the world selling them right now, not even Akaso. Plus I was put off by the lacklustre audio capabilities. The Osmo Action 3 is exactly what I've been looking for and ticks all the boxes (decent audio, front and back screens, 3x battery case, etc.). I have using a DJI gimbal for iPhone video and it works very well. I am also impressed by its build quality and the Action 3 looks to be very high quality. I'll be ordering the action pack next year. Thanks for the video; I am totally sold!

I’m new on osmo just got a new on today, after setting up took few photos but when I connected to my mobile on mimo app can’t see and download any photos just see only files of the photos cant view any 😩😩😩😩 first use and not happy

why don't you update the firmware directly with SD card? using Wifi makes risk

This dont work this easy for me! I download the update & it loads to 50% & then just freezes!
Then i try to connect the app to the Action 3 & it wont connect so i try every which way until the battery goes flat then i realise i've not even got a charger with the camera!!
What sort of bs is this? Why do i even need to connect it to my bloody phone for!! Im beginning to wish id just brought a GoPro 11 & been done with it....
