DJI Osmo Action 3 in 2023 - Better than GOPRO?

The DJI Osmo Action 3 is way better than the GoPro, at least my GoPro10. I can't stand my GoPro10. It overheats often and shut off the camera, the battery doesn't last more than 20 minutes. For me, the Action 3 is much more reliable and the image and video quality is just as good as the GoPro. I am an owner of Gopro 7, 8, 9 and 10. I've left the GoPro bandwagon.

I think it looks to "crunchy" because you used it without nd filters! If it's sunny, the kamera need a very fast shutter speed, so it looks "crunchy"

Once people get over 5.3K vs 4K DJI wins every time. When a video is uploaded to YouTube or Instagram the difference between those video settings are not even noticeable.

I recently purchased.. osmo action 3 .. I got a battery.. but I want to take extra batteries... Amazon doesn't have original dji batteries in India.. can you recommend third-party batteries

Hero 7 Black on motorcycle handlebars AZ & NM & TX heat often shuts down or says repairing which code for lost my footage. Does Action 3 have that problem?

Absolutely love the quick attachments but it's just not reliable. It's waterproof capabilities is sketchy. Had it in a pool today for less than 5 minutes and it malfunctioned. All ports were closed. Water got into SD card slot which destroyed all info I filmed the last few days. The card now requires format before I can use it. It's currently drying out and will not come on at all. I really wish I had not gotten this camera. I've had it for 9 months and haven't been impressed with the image quality overall. If it won't come back on I guess I've got a new paperweight.

Loved everything about the Osmo Action 3 except I could not get it to Livestream. DJI tech support admitted there are issues with it. I'm back to GoPro.

I wouldn't say it looks a little crunchy. I'd say it looks downright unusable. The footage from these cameras is so unbelievably grainy. The compression is either extremely aggressive or its just not a good camera. Kind of disappointing considering that their drone cameras are unbelievably good. Hope they fix this with the next one.
