The craziest part is that we know the people who identify as Christian and as right-wing conservative, will see this and think it's an attack on Christianity, rather than a call-out of how very obviously their political ideology is at odds with their faith. This video is so clear and yet it will still go over their heads.

There are actually pastors at evangelical churches now who preach the gospel and then have people come up to them after the service and ask why the pastor was bringing up so many “liberal talking points”! This is actually happening.

I’m not a believer but my father was, and he was kind to everyone, and gave the clothes and toys we didn’t use anymore to the poor. He was conservative in a lot of ways, but he always believed that those who have should give to those who don’t. He never said anything like “Well the rich work hard, they deserve their money.” He hated what happened to America under Reagan, he never could accept the 80s idea of “greed is good.” He was rich by the end of his life but he still gave. He was a beautiful soul and I wish more Christians could be like him.

I'm here after JD Vance declaring that true christian love is to deprioritise foreigners. Just as Jesus teaches us in the story of the Bad Samaritan, who saw the desperate, dying man on the side of the road, and left him there, for he was foreign unto him.
