I remember seeing him while he walked across the grass at the white house towards a waiting helicopter when he was still president and actually saying out loud " I am the 'Chosen One'.". He had been previously making comments about how somebody had to step in and get aggressive in dealing with issues about China. And then another time during the timeframe he was campaigning for 2020 a reporter travelling around the country asking for comments from various people regarding the candidates, stopped by an older couple who looked in an age group of retirees. The gentleman was asked what were his thoughts about Trump. He replied very matter-of -factly "As far as concerned, Trump can walk on water." I actually witnessed that on the evening news back then...similar sentiments are shared in many places., hard for me to understand why. ...I just don't get it and I don't see it in that way at all..I have the overwhelming feeling, as well as a fear that our country is in serious trouble that it seems so many people don't recognize it, refuse to believe it or are just in a chronic state of denial...what can we do? Oh yeah, I only hear just vote we have to vote! But they're dreaming up new laws and ways to hinder our opportunities for voting...and if that doesn't work for the deniers that are presently getting elected as we speak today, some have expressed intentions to set it up so that they will have the power and opportunity to 'call it' as they please. It's happening from within slowly to where they will succeed quietly 'this time' as they didn't quite get it pulled off on Jan seriously distressing for me...
