The robotaxi is a purpose-built autonomous vehicle, lacking a steering wheel or pedals, meaning it will need approval from regulators before going into production. The design was futuristic, with doors that open upward like butterfly wings and a small cabin with only enough space for two passengers. There was no steering wheel or pedals.

The robovan is intended to for the company’s Tesla Network, an autonomous ridehailing service for purpose-built self-driving cars, as well as Tesla customers’ personally owned vehicles.

Looking at Tesla's self-driving car, I thought I was seeing a slow-moving carousel. It did not show the safety and judgment of autonomous driving when driving at high speeds, but only showed Optimus' poor dancing skills and bartending skills. If the safety of object recognition during high-speed driving is not shown, as in Tesla's low-quality self-driving show, I think the reason why LiDAR is needed will become clearer.
