Tesla CEO Elon Musk unveils self-driving robotaxi

At Tesla's "We, Robot" event Thursday night, CEO Elon Musk unveiled the company's first fully self-driving robotaxi, a 2-door cab with no steering wheel and no pedals. The new car, which is powered by AI, is expected to hit the road by 2027. NBC's Gadi Schwartz reports for TODAY.

Elon invented the BUS!
It's huge. We will be able to tell our grandchildren that we witnessed the birth of the bus. Elon explained in a very simplified way that traffic on the roads will go down if people start using this new invention that can take 20 passengers! It's hard to grasp but I trust Elon.

Just waiting for the word to leak that the vehicles shown at the event were not actually self-driving or autonomous in any way. Following an embedded wire, or driven by remote control. So tired of the vaporware from T at this point.

I think driverless cars are only possible if all cars are driverless. I say this because AI algorithm obviously only accounts safety precautions to law abiding drivers. Crazy and reckless drivers are unpredictable no AI is that fast yet to avoid collision or avoid any potential collision from incoming crazy drivers.
