Such a weird concept to have to owner of the AirTag see your location but you can’t see nor possibly hear the location of the air tag. If someone is following you or stalking you there’s nothing you can do about it essentially until you actually find the air tag which is fucking stupid. we should be allowed to disconnect from any unknown AirTag that’s following us so that our location can’t be accessible nor can the air tag connect to your apple devices.

Thank you, sir. The first time I could recall such a notification was a month ago at work. On my table, I saw an earphone lying around, but I did not touch it. When I took my break, I saw the notification, so I assumed it must've been the earphones. However, a day ago, while I was in Los Angeles traffic, I got the notification, so I freaked out. I mean, this happened on the freeway, miles away from home and work. Now I know what to do when the notification pops up. Thank you for saving me from stress and worry.

I hate this feature because it favours robbers who steal your valuable Air Tagged belongings. It notifies them instead of the owner! There seems to be no way to get notified when your tags move away from you, which should be the whole point of the tags.

my purse recently got stolen, and I freaked when I got the notification that an AirTag was detected!!! I figured it was my air pods!!! I ran to the location and nothing was found = ( I didn't have any AirTags but seeing this video explains that it could b just a random air tag lol

It’s weird but it’s detecting on my iPad but not on my iPhone. The range isn’t reaching an area to ping so I don’t know if it’s still around

I had this happen to a friend overseas I think a hotel employee put it in a backpack not to steal.the backpack, but know when the person wouldn't be in their hotel room so they could have access to valuables while they were away and keep tabs on their location

so what's the point of buying an air tag as a non criminal anymore? If the thief/criminal get's warned that he's been tracked, the only reason to buy air tags apart from locating my keys, would be if I would like to stalk someone, right? my conclusion is that apple should stop selling this devices...and I 'm sure that's what's going to happen;)

So I got an alert from an unknown AirTag and I don’t own one. I tried using the sound to track it and pressed the “find my” button but it didn’t work. (Btw I was hovering next to it and over it when I did this). If none of those options work and I don’t physically have it, how can I disable it?
