Thank you. I am 10 day post op as of today and had excessive swelling only yesterday. I was on my feet all day and no time to raise leg. Am able to do my all my exercises except that I gave a constant “charlie horse” on my calves and so much pain behind knee. Any thoughts?. Also would to see you for an appt.

Hi Tony - I’m at 9 months after knee surgery and my knee wont bend past 100 degrees - the knee just wont force past 110. The knee is still slightly swollen and not sore to walk etc. Still hurts walking down stairs though, is this normal and do you have an opinion on this situation.

It sounded like you were talking about CRPS? I had that after ankle surgery and have a neurostimulator. Spread to my other leg. Not sure if my stim helped my pain...none...from my knee replacement. Do you think that is possible?

I ended up with cellulitis that was very hard to heal.. that then has left me with lipodermatosclerosis! My knee is wonderful, though!!

Hi, thanks for your valuable videos, could you please explain exactly what’s the meaning of steady manipulation done by the physio therapist after 6month of TKR, that was the request of the surgeon for poor flexion. ( not MUA). Thanks

Hi Tony, that something else you were talking about would it be indicative of deep vein thrombosis as I had suffered previously this following an angiogram? I'm at week 12 post TKR in the uk and with all our NHS problems haven't had any follow ups or physiotherapy. I have and still am experiencing all the excessive symptoms you have mentioned albeit slowly improving. I'm 65 this year and can manage about 100 degrees. Loving your videos and consideration to the MUA you have highlighted as I have concerns of scar tissue .

Hello! I dislocated my knee two days ago, but it popped right back in and the X-rays showed no sign of damage other than accumulation of liquid in the knee area. However I’m still in pain and my knee is locked in a fixed position. My calv and foot has started swelling, not much, but still a big difference from the other foot. The foot is darker red than the other and my calv hurts like hell. Is this part of the healing process? Or am I to worry?
Thanks for response in advance!

I had major swelling in my knee for 2-3 yrs prior to full knee replacement, after leaving hospital on Friday, I did what told of me. That Sunday the legs was was so inflamed that the the knee was bleeding out(which actually relieved some pain), plus pitting edema from the foot to upper thigh. I went back to tho orthopedic, who of coursed blamed me, after repackaging I ask about possibly aspirating some of the fluid out of the knee capsule. He yelled and said don’t have someone do it due to possibly infection. Me being stupid said alright, but upon leaving I should have rebutted him by saying, no I meant why don’t you mr pro drain some of the excessive fluid out. I noted on the reports I was given under history, the first line that popped up non immunization Covid
WTF. I don’t trust the medical system like many other after the Covid scam.
When I had my hip done 7 yrs ago they had a drain in my thigh for after the procedure, I was out of the hospital Friday and back to work Monday. I know the difference btw hip and knee replacement, but this is ridiculous
