I fish out of an old town 120PDL. I take 6 to 8 combos almost every trip.

***Disclaimer*** I know nothing!
I don’t leave my house in central Florida without my st croix legend Xtreme 7MF, with a Stradic 3000, 15lb braid and 7lb flouro leader with a core tackle wacky shot ready to roll. I fish a pretty light drag, and primarily soft plastics. I freakin love my setup!

If I am on a boat: Top-water: Heavy, fast. 7, 6 Moving: Med-Heavy, fast. 7, 4 Texas-rig: Med-Heavy, fast. 7, 2 Spinning: Light or Med-Light, Fast 7, 0. This year trying to reduce to three rod set ups while kayaking. If I am walking the bank I reduce it to two deciding what I what technique I am using. My sons gave my dobyns rods and baitcast shimano reels when I retired several years and I really like Cadence spinning rods and reels for ned rigs, wacky rigs, and dropd shots. (I don't like retying drop shots either). I like my 6, 6 glass rod (Favorite) for cranking because I am vertical challenged and struggle with casting longer rods. I fish at least once a week (live on a small lake) and often several times a week in the summer. Enjoy your content. Thx.

Running everything from a BFS to 7'-8" glides this year. Love the pattern of those golden shiner Huddlestons.

I have 3 of the 7' 6" ML Ark Invoker spinning rods. Use them for dropshot, ned and lil' underspins, I freaking love them. I especially love the grip. Great rods.

Listening to this and half watching as I get my gear ready but I'm getting distracted dew to the nerdy geek gear talk which I love. I'll be watching this later at least one more time. Really enjoying these types of videos

Right in line with what I'm using. I tend to go a little shorter. Just find them easier to manage and in the yak I don't miss the casting distance. Rod 4 is an ultralight setup for sure. Life saver on the days when it's panfish or go home skunked.

Great video.. I never buy combos. I'm a bank and kayak fisherman. All my baitcasters and spinning reels are Seviin Reels. My rods are Alx Rods. Two crappie rods are Cajun Rods

1. KK Kestrel 6’9” Light Fast BFS- I never leave it. Easily my favorite rod. It throws any finesse bait including moving baits and finesse top water. Incredible Rod!

2. St Croix Victory Spinning 7’1 MF

Then my 3rd would depend on where.

3.

Fishing from the bank...
TFO Professional 6' 6" medium heavy, moderate fast casting paired with a Shimano SLX 151
Diawa Tatula XT 7 ' medium, fast spinning paired with a Diawa 2500 Revros
St. Croix Premier 6' 6" medium light, fast spinning paired with a Shimano 2500 Sahara.
Nice gear breakdowns 👍

You should try the Daiwa Tatula Elite Brent Ehrler Multi-Purpose Rod. It does a lot of techniques well.
